Originally established in 1975 as a small precast concrete works, our business has grown through intergenerational succession, expanding into readymix concrete production in the early 1990s — which has since become our core focus.
At the turn of the new millennium, the company continued to invest in plant and fleet, embracing state-of-the-art computerized wet batching technology, and became one of the first independent concrete manufacturers in Ireland to achieve NSAI certification to the EN 206 standard. Continued development into the mid-2000s saw the acquisition of sand and gravel deposits, the production of our own aggregates, and the introduction of concrete pumping as part of our expanding operations
Now in its third generation, Spollen Concrete stands as a modern and innovative independent concrete manufacturer, operating 25 mixer trucks and 4 boom pumps while producing all aggregates in-house. The company proudly serves the agricultural, civil, commercial, domestic, and residential construction markets across the Irish Midlands — a reflection of over 50 years of experience, growth, and family commitment to quality.
