How we handle your information, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated: 9 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information Spollen Concrete collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. We have written it in plain language rather than legal jargon. If anything is unclear, please ask — our contact details are at the end.
Spollen Concrete Ltd is the data controller for the information described in this policy. That means we decide what personal data is collected and how it is used.
We only collect information you choose to give us. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Our quote form asks for the following. Items marked required are the minimum we need in order to price and schedule a delivery.
If you phone or email us, we hold whatever information you provide in that conversation or message so that we can deal with your enquiry.
If you send a CV to careers@spollenconcrete.ie, we hold that CV and any covering note for the purpose of considering your application.
| What we use it for | Legal basis under GDPR |
|---|---|
| Responding to your quote request or enquiry, and arranging a delivery | To take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract |
| Keeping records of orders, deliveries and the concrete supplied | Legal obligation (tax, accounting) and our legitimate interest in maintaining accurate business records |
| Producing delivery dockets, conformity certificates and test records tied to a pour | Legal obligation and legitimate interest in demonstrating compliance with I.S. EN 206 |
| Considering a job application | To take steps at your request before entering into a contract of employment |
| Keeping this website secure and working properly | Our legitimate interest in protecting the site from abuse |
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run the business, and only so far as they need it. Each one acts on our instructions.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, for example to Revenue, or to our professional advisers where necessary.
Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, they are required to protect it to an equivalent standard, using the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept only as long as needed to deal with them, and are then deleted. Where you become a customer, we keep records relating to the order for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes, and for as long as the concrete supplied may need to be evidenced for certification or warranty reasons. Unsuccessful job applications are kept for a short period and then deleted unless you ask us to keep your CV on file.
This website does not use cookies, and it does not run advertising or analytics trackers. Nothing is stored on your device to follow you between visits or across other websites. If that changes in future we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
